Keeping a journal is an important of my personal development as an artist and a person. I firmly believe that everyone should keep a journal if possible. It helps me keep my thoughts, fears, plans, and ideas organized and it is truly fascinating to look back on old journals – you catch a glimpse into a past version of yourself and can see how far you’ve come.

I make no rules for what I can or cannot write or draw in my journals or how fast I complete them. Some pages are crowded full of ideas, quotes, and half drawings while some (like above) are left with a simplistic drawing that stands as its own art piece and can inspire more from it.

Best brand for any sort of journal or planner? Moleskine. Hands down. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.
